BUBBL’R is BUBB’est
By Kim Tran
BUBBL’R was originally introduced to the world in 2017 as a sub-brand of Klarbrunn, a Wisconsin-based beverage company. It rapidly gained popularity in the Midwest, and for good reason. It stands out amongst other energy drinks because of its unique flavor and hydration properties. Over the past few years, I have begun to gravitate towards this drink on the shelf for a multitude of reasons — to such an extent that I would call myself a proud and avid BUBBL’R drinker.
First off, that jittery feeling that high-energy drinks like Celsius and Alani have? Gone. In each BUBBL’R can, 69 mg of caffeine are provided, similar to a cup of coffee. BUBBL’R creates a sustained energy boost without the intense crash afterward. There are no synthetic additives or excessive sugar, which other drinks have. The energy supplied is from green tea and vitamins.
Secondly, the nutrition facts are amazing. Zero added sugars, 450 mg of antioxidants (Vitamin A), and one net carb or less, along with no harsh food dyes because, as the brand states, all the color is “provided by nature.” These drinks are crafted with more natural and cleaner ingredients, containing only five calories per can.
Not only does BUBBL’R supply a good pick-me-up through its caffeine, but also through its flavors. BUBBL’R has a substantial flavor index including Twisted Elix’r (raspberry, lime, citrus), Triple Berry Breez’r (raspberry, blueberry, blackberry), Tropical Dream’r (pineapple, mango, apple, lime), and many more. These fresh, fruity, and balanced flavors appeal to everyone — especially those conscious of the additives they consume — and are not overwhelmingly sweet.
In addition to being better for our bodies, they are better for the environment. BUBBL’R uses eco-friendly packaging, instead of single-use plastic. You’ll feel good choosing BUBBL’R, and even more so drinking it.
Alani Nu: The glow-up we all need
By Brooke Ellis
Picture this: You’re in the supermarket, hunting for that perfect energy drink — the kind that fuels your body, lifts your spirits, and either gets you hyped for a killer gym session or gives you that refreshing sparkle for your walk to class. Because, let’s be real, we all need that caffeine boost to fake productivity.
You glance to your left and — yikes — there’s a Celsius. No hard feelings, but Celsius is like that one friend who swears they’re all about clean eating, while munching on kale chips and choking down a protein bar that tastes like gym equipment. Celsius claims to be “fitness-focused,” but let’s be real: it has enough caffeine to fuel a rocket launch, yet the flavor’s about as exciting as a soggy paper towel. You’d have better luck finding taste in a cardboard box.
Now, to your right, you spot a BUBBL’R. Ah, BUBBL’R — the shiny new kid on the block, all cute and bubbly, like it’s about to be your new best friend. Sure, it’s Instagram-perfect, but when it comes to keeping you awake during that mid-afternoon crashout? Let’s face it, you’re gonna crash out. BUBBL’R’s basically a glorified soda with a pretty label.
But then, right in front of you, like a beacon of hope, there it is: Alani Nu. The energy drink that not only tastes like a tropical vacation, but actually makes you feel like you can conquer the world — without needing a nap two minutes later. Now, that’s what I’m talking about.
Now, I know, I know. Celsius Holdings acquired Alani Nu. As a consumer, I can’t say I’m exactly throwing confetti over that announcement, but here we are. Alani has everything a caffeine drinker could need: smooth energy, no crash, and zero crazy jitters. Their products are like a health guru’s dream come true: natural caffeine, essential vitamins, and electrolytes. It’s the kind of drink that makes you feel like you’ve got your life together. Heck, you might even start meal-prepping just to match the vibe.
But what really sets Alani Nu apart from the likes of Celsius and BUBBL’R is that they offer something for everyone. Keto-friendly? Check. Gluten-free? You betcha. Vegan-friendly? Absolutely. Alani Nu doesn’t just cater to one crowd; it’s like the cool, inclusive energy drink of your dreams. Plus, the flavors are chef’s kiss — unique, delicious, and with zero artificial sweeteners. I’m personally obsessed with Cherry Twist, the seasonal Dream Float, and Winter Wonderland — I know, hot take, but I love coconut. Don’t judge me. And of course, the iconic Pink slushie.
