Ingredients (cookies):
½ cup butter, room temperature
⅓ cup olive oil
½ cup sugar
⅓ cup powdered sugar
1 egg
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all purpose flour
½ tsp baking soda
¼ tsp salt (omit if using salted butter)
1 chai tea bag
Ingredients (icing):
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp whole milk
dash of cinnamon
Instructions:
Beat the butter and mix in the olive oil.
Add sugar, powdered sugar, egg, and vanilla.
Stir in flour, baking soda, and salt. Open the tea bag and pour in the contents. Mix.
Chill dough for one hour.
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
Form cookie dough into two inch rounds. Add to a greased cookie sheet.
Bake for approximately nine minutes or until slightly golden.
Cool completely, 10 to 15 minutes.
Prepare icing. Combine powdered sugar with milk, a little milk at a time, and add a dash of cinnamon. Stir until smooth.
Cover the cookies with icing and allow the icing to harden.
