How long have you been playing volleyball? What made you start playing?

I have been playing since I was nine, and I started to competitively play when I was 14. To begin with, it was a way to make friends, then I became more competitive because I love the game so much. I also started to play because my parents both play, and I loved to watch them growing up.

The volleyball team has had an amazing season; what’s it been like watching as a member of the team?

This season has been absolutely amazing. The team has such strong chemistry. We all trust each other wholeheartedly.

With a lot of the team being seniors, how do you feel about the team in the future?

Although a lot of the team are seniors, we also have a fairly sizable class of 2030 coming in this next year, and I think that we can build upon the base that the seniors have given us to work with. We have many juniors and sophomores that are currently playing, and I think that they will rise to the occasion and continue to play their best. There is also a lot of growth that can happen in the off season, so I think that if we all work our hardest then, we can come back even stronger.

With this being your freshman season, how do you feel going forward after this success?

Personally, I think that there is a lot that I can improve on in the off season, and I hope that I can come in swinging during pre-season and play a more active role in the team.
